Uninstalling Woes in Chromebook Solved

We didn’t even realize that Chromebooks could run Android Apps. We suppose that has to do with us maintaining a PC as our go to for all of our computing needs. Granted the reasons to have a Chromebook really depend on your budget and whether or not you can give up Microsoft Word. Recent developments now leave that reservation for adoption off the table. We suppose now we’re thinking in terms of pure horsepower. Octa-core AMD FX chips might keep us in the PC a little longer. However for those of us that have adopted Chromebooks there remains this problem of figuring out just how to uninstall an app. This takes care of that annoying problem. It’s fast, easy, and free. Adblock Supercharged

Many of us tend to install Adblock software on our phones and then we call it a day. There really isn’t a problem with this approach. However, when we need to troubleshoot why it doesn’t work on a certain website we end up being at a disadvantage. Another approach that may take a little more time than usual functions a whole lot better is using a proxy. You probably don’t want to run the gamut but learning about this stuff might make your job easier in the future. Read up on Adblocking on Steroids by Matt Egan…

Apple Stealing…really?

With all the nonsense spouted by both sides of this debate it’s a wonder that we even still manage to have two vastly different operating systems in place within the mobile world. Apple has had it’s fair share of complaining that Android’s been cherry picking features–even going so far as to suing Samsung for this alleged practice. What we don’t speak much on are the features that Apple’s been taking from Android in their own product development. Times of India has the scoop…

Livestream Mobile on Mobile for Mobile

We’ve heard of Hitbox, Twitch TV, and of course Livestream YouTube but what sort of programs do we have for Android? Admittedly the incentives aren’t all that great given the scope and depth of Android’s Game offerings. To be fair, one would be hard pressed to think of a better reason not to stream when Rockstar Games and Square Enix seem to be bringing a back catalog of titles to the mobile scene. Kamcord might be exactly what we’ve been looking for. Phone Arena has the story…

Android as a Pokedex

Normally we don’t utter such one syllable descriptions of our enthusiasm for topics otherwise it wouldn’t be news would it? But for Niantic in conjunction with Nintendo to release an Augmented Reality Game for Android utilizing beloved characters from our childhood all we could really say is… That is so cool! Pokemon Go sounds pretty ambitious but the plan is well underway and it couldn’t have came at a better time with Nintendo finally jumping on board for developing titles for Android.
